This dress is made in pure silk fabric handwoven in Banaras with a hint of stripes all over the fabric. It has a deeper scoop neckline with sleeves made in two panels. The stripes are intricately mightered reflectively. It ha s beautifully crafted applique & hand embroidery in teal green color on the bodice & the sleeves. This collection is an assorted range of textiles & handspun fabrics sourced from Banaras, Islampur, Murshidabad & quaint villages of India. The inspiration for the embellishments & embroideries has been derived from the artist Huguette Caland and her work over the years. Intricate crafts like sujani & kantha are the key embroidery techniques been used.
